The Upper Crust chain of eateries was started by Lester D’Souza on April 1, 1989.
The inspiration to name the chain Upper Crust stems from two reasons - Oven baked products have a crusty upper side and the second to address the target audience; contemporary upper crust strata of modern India.
Simplicity and ease makes Upper Crust a place to get a taste of not only Indian cuisine but an array of international dishes as well. This is the place where one can meet friends, or just drop in for a light lunch or dinner without the need for a bow tie or a white table cloth.
The menu represents the spirit of the place to a great extent. It displays a unique selection of the traditional Indian & international cuisine made with assorted spices and a wide spectrum of mocktails and deserts. At the most the menu may change from one Upper Crust eatery to another, but the hospitality and eagerness to serve our patrons with nothing but the best culinary experience remains the same.
